This stuff probably can't get better
This kind of eating just can't really include the words like "good taste" and "gourmet." I think the quality of this product is perfectly fine, if not better than others I have experienced . . . however, the taste simply isn't anything to write home about. I mean, that could be the product, or it could be the altitude, or it could be how hungry you are. I imagine the best way to get good reviews would be to give this item to people for free to try at home for a regular meal . . . and base opinions on that. It will get you by on the mountain, but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't take this on a car-camping trip. But I can't say for sure . . . I've only ever eaten it above 15k feet. Bag was a good design and wasn't about to rip or get ruined accidentally.

You could eat it
I usually buy mountain house, blueberry and granola and thought I would give this a shot. I hate to say but it just seemed too plain and missing the sweet taste. Next time I think I will pass.

Would taste better with yogurt
I really wanted to like this, because the comparable products from Backpacker's Pantry and Mountain House are too sweet. This cereal was anything but delicious, except perhaps to a termite or carpenter ant. (Think cardboard.) I would give it one star but some yogurt might turn it into a meal and it must be good for you, even if you can't eat it all. A horse might eat it; my dogs would not.
