The coat's sleek mesh lining hangs comfortably over base layers, and 3-point Interchange ability means you can securely attach any of Columbia's liners for full-parka protection on those deep freeze days. The storm hood and protective powder skirt are both removable so they can be there for the blizzard and gone for the slush. Great for North Dakota Winters
This coat with the fleece provides great warmth iwthout being bulky. Keeps out snow and wind but lets me move around.

I like it
I've been wearing much heavier coats that are not as warm. The high thread count means less weight and bulk. I just hope the zipper holds up.

Great Ski Coat
This is a great shell! It fits perfectly over my existing Columbia fleece and I imagine it would fit well over the down fleece as well. The previous reviewer who said this jacket is "too thin" clearly didn't know he was buying only a shell. I'll be skiing in it next week and from the tests in the snow thus far - it works as promised.
