Toasty Warm and Dry
I initially ordered a Large Sea Salt coat for myself. Well my sister who is also about 5' 6" and 140 lbs. really fell in love with the coat and color (Sea Salt). As much as I liked the Sea Salt I decided to order the Large Black coat and let my sister keep the Sea Salt. The key features we like is the high quality of fit and finish, the extremely light weight of the coat and ease of movement. I had an older Columbia jacket and this model is much lighter - while it was also waterproof the newer Omni Heat technology in this model reduces the weight and bulk of the coat a good deal - so it is easy to slip on and off and be active outdoors without restriction. And when you slip into a store to pick up a few items you can unzip and move about with complete freedom and less bulk! We are both very happy with the fit (Large size) and I agree with a previous review, the size does tend to run a little smaller then might be expected in a Large but a very feminine style and flattering. Love it !

This ski coat has served my wife very well so far. It keeps her warm down to about 10 degrees outside with only a thin under layer. The quality is excellent and the design is great. The inner layer works well for when you are indoors eating. After my wife's experience, I am also going to buy the male equivalent of one of these. I highly recommend this jacket for skiing.
