Very comfortable and sturdy, and they look very good too. The break-in time was negligible; I wore them around the house for a bit, and that was enough. I ordered a half-size larger, but they seem to be true to size.

Women's Columbia Shastalavista
Lightweight and well constructed - will take a little time getting used to the mid length. Bought in size 7 for hiking/camping adventures and happy with my purchase. Great looking shoe also - form can follow function! Great price from Altrec and shipped quickly!
