nice shoe
This shoe was comfortable right out of the box. Arc support seems good. I look forward to trying and wear it out this summer on a trip out west. The fit is true to size and I think I am going to have to fight my son for them who also wears an 11. They are also very attractive shoes that could be worn for casual everyday use.

Love this shoe
I first found this shoe in Eastern Washington, put it on on went on a 5 day backpack trip. Comfortable right out of the box. Fortunately I now find the Shasta on this website at an awesome price. It's a good daily hiker and LT backpacker. It has a wide toe box, lightweight but is not waterproof. I wear mens size because I like the extra room at the toe... After about 4 months of fairly consistent wear I need to replace them.

Descent shoe
I used these shoes for light hiking. They were comfortable and provided support and plenty of cushion on the trail. The shoe is fairly breathable but not as ventilated as other shoes I have owned. I live in the high desert so this is must for me. Over good shoe for a great price at Altrec!
