Fantastic traction, light and very comfortable
I have terrible feet with considerable problems over the years due to lots of trail running. To use these shoes in combination with my orthodics is the perfect solution. The fit is flexible enough with lacing system to accommodate any thickness sock. The new lug design (only around the outside of the front) helps with stability. Frankly, the older golites that were fully lugged were coming apart and moisture crept in through the underside. This doesn't happen with the new design. can't beat the weight of these shoes!

GoLite Women's Fire Trail Running Shoe
Great traction and comfortably light weight. The fit was a bit larger than other women's trail runners I've purchased lately. Overall an excellent trail runner.

Good traction, cushion and toe box; heel slippage issue
I do have small feet with narrow heels, but even with the laces specially tied in the top eyelet, still have irritation starting after only 2 miles on a trail. The grip in all situations is great, shoes are light and no problems with cushion and proper fit in the toe box on a variety of terrain.
