Helly Hansen Men's Moutain Pile Jacket

Amazing mid-layer
This is an amazing mid-layering piece. I had always passed on high loft fleece in the past because I didn't want to be mistaken for a furry. Appearances aside, this fleece will keep you amazingly warm. The only down side is that pile isn't wind resistant like most fleeces, so while it is much, much warmer, you'll definitely need a softshell over it on windy days. It's a small price to pay, because I've been wearing it in 30 degree weather so far without so much as a shiver. On a side note, high loft fleece sheds when you first get it. You're jacket isn't falling apart, that's just how it rolls.
