Perfect for school
I bought this pack for my daughter who entered Kindergarten this year. She LOVES her backpack! For a Kindergartener it's a little big, but she isn't one that wears things hard, so it should last for years. Her waterbottle fits in the side pocket nicely. She can put her school work and lunch inside the pack and still have room for library books to bring home as well. This backpack is definitely a winner!

Perfect First Impression!
My son just got his new Keen backpack for the upcoming school season and we are thrilled! Great construction and most importantly PVC free (it's made of 100% polyester and a polyurethane lining). I had called Keen ahead of time before purchasing and they assured me it was PVC free and Lead free. It's a perfect fit for my average height 6 1/2 yr old. The side pockets are deep enough for a water bottle and my son loves the whistle and the red safety light. This is a great backpack that is stylish & functional for a young boy and a bag mom can feel good about her son carrying. Of course time will tell how it holds up, but it's off to a great start (which is why I gave average ratings for everything else)

Wonderful Colors
This backpack is perfect for my 6 year old daughter. My main concern was comfort and this backpack fit her perfect. She loves the colors, whistle and light it came with. I really like the back padding. First time buying keen brand name and I am happy with this purchase. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it was a bit bigger for extra years of usage.
