Change the height to the desired length using the top adjuster, fully tightening the pole leaves the anti shock on, then slightly loosen to click the anti shock into the off position (the height stays locked in place) loosening more will then allow the height to be changed. Three-section poles for trekking and other alpine adventures like snowshoeing and ski touring.
