Carbon Skeletool
This has to be one of the nicest leatherman multi tool knife's they have made. I love the minimal amount of tools you get with this knife. It would be a great compliment to my Leatherman Juice XE6 multi-tool. For the minimalist hiker/camper looking for a great leatherman knife to take with them but doesn't want a bulky heavy knife, this skeletool is a great alternative. You have the stainless steel blade, and pliers, and a bit driver for any repairs on your trip. The only drawback i've heard and noticed, is the pliers are known to be fragile compared to other leatherman knifes. I haven't experienced that myself, I tend to be easy on my leatherman knifes. The main and probably obvious reason I love this particular knife, is the addition of Carbon Fiber to the handle of the knife. To me it's worth the extra money to have a knife with carbon fiber which adds some serious attraction to the appearance of the knife. This makes it very lightweight yet very durable and strong during heavy usage. I mainly use this for collection display. I will cherish this knife for many years. Thank you Leatherman for this awesome knife.

I carry this thing with me everywhere.
This tool has saved me trouble time and time again. You get two flathead and two phillips head bits that store on the skeletool- if you add the optional bit kit, you get another 40 options. The knife blade is very strong and hasn't had to be sharpened in the year and a half I've owned it. Its light enough to take the place of a pocketknife while backpacking, but not so large that it feels bulky in your pocket. I have friends that have said "if you ever go to look for that thing and can't find it, its because I stole it from you." Lucky for me I never put it down.

Has everything you REALLY need
Pros: 1. Superb craftsmanship 2. Blade and tools are very sturdy and precise 3. Lightweight and slim/elegant profile 4. Looks super cool, esp. with the carbon fiber Cons: 1. Ergonomics of drivers could use improvement. There's quite a bit of offset of the driver head from the handle. 2. It looks so cool that it would be gone in a split second if you accidentally left it out unattended. I bought the CX model instead of the regular Skeletool for the serrated blade.
