MemBrain fabric is designed to reduce internal condensation inside garments, so you don't feel chilled by the dampness sometimes associated with other waterproof shell pants and jackets. The Marmot Men's Motion Pant is fully taped along the seams for watertight performance and enhanced durability. The hand pockets are zippered, but the flap on the cargo pocket is secured with a Velcro closure. Like other Marmot pants used for hiking and climbing, the Marmot Motion Pant for men features articulated knees for full range of motion without bunching or binding. The waist has an adjustable snap closure and a zippered fly. Gripper elastic along the internal gaiters helps keep snow and damp slush out of the straight leg design.

Perfect for what I needed...
My Marmot 3-layer Gore-text mountaineering pants have become a little snug (i'm an overfed dad...I admit it). I needed something a little less technical to hit the slopes and sledding hills with my kids, but still wanted the generous cut that Marmot gave me with their more technical climbing pants. These were perfect! I'll use them for skiing this year and next, and for anything else where the kids are playing in the snow. Truly love what I picked, and what was delivered.
