Weather Proof in any Inclimate Weather
Handles down pours and gusty winds with great breathability under the most arduous back country conditions. Resilient to harsh terrain abrasions and room for layering. A must for the serious backcountry outing.

Waterproof and lovin' it so far
I give it high marks for its ability to shed the driving rain and its breathability. In the week I have had this jacket, our area has been hit with 5 days of downpour/deluge. My body stayed dry the whole time. The temperature and humidity were high, yet I did not feel overwhelmed by it (some of my previous shells were not breathable enough). Granted, I have only used this jacket as a casual, walk-around-town jacket; no aerobic-type activity. In addition to the hem drawcord, I wish it had a way to cinch up the waist a bit (full fit). I only wish I had the pants to go with it, then my legs would not have gotten soaked!.
