Best Pack Yet
This has been the best, out of three, packs I have owned so far. I think the roll top closure is a great idea and would be hard to go back to a floating lid. I like that there are few outside pockets because they tend to throw off weight and snag in tight quarters. However, the helmet carry was great for lugging around a bear canister in the Adirondacks. The material is very strong and not as heavy as my Lowe pack I typically use for winter. Which, this pack is much more comfortable with just a t-shirt, or none. Ventilation was a very big plus on muggy Minnesota summer treks along the SHT, and it was nice to have my pack hugging my hips and not bear hugging my back. If I were to improve this pack, I would install a hook to hold my platypus res. up. This pack is going to be a great friend for the next few years, I hope many, many more.

Love this backpack.
Large enough for several days. Nice pockets. Hydration sleeve is very handy. Plenty of exterior attachment options. Rain resistant and dries quickly. Comfortable when not overloaded. Roll top is cool.
