Mountain Hardwear Men's Quasar Running Cap

Lightweight, cool, and comfortable. perfect for those that sweat a lot walking, running or hiking. Took mine out for the first time at the beach. Worked great! The Regular size fit my head perfectly and i would say I've a normal sized head. Mountain Hardwear products continue to impress.

If you sweat a lot this is the hat for you...
I bought the Quasar because I needed a hat that could take some of the sweat off my head and keep it cool. I have a shaved head so the sweat just beads up. I'm happy to say this does an effective job of wicking and keeping my head cooler. Doesn't get it all but gets most. One small warning, if you have a shaved head be sure and put sunscreen over the portion of your head on the back side of the hat above the velcro adjuster. I forgot and received a nice semi-circle sunburn.

good materials and workmanship, not a great fit
I got this hat to keep the deer flies (can't outrun them for long, sun, and heat off my balding pate. Basically it does the job on hot, humid runs: light weight, good wicking, and generous brim. But it is "gappy" in the back around the adjuster which affects the shape of the hat--and I bought the Regular not Large.
