Great Running Jacket
Bought this for running in cool/cold weather. Got the grill colored one and when I got it, initially I was a little surprised. It looked like a super thin space aged mateial and I didn't think there was any way it would keep me warm. I went for a run in about 40 degree weather wearing the jacket and a thermal undershirt. I was shocked again about how warm it kept me. I stayed warm throught the whole run. Now, I love this jacket and is an essential piece of cool/cold weather gear. It is also thin enough and compact enough that I now put it in my mountain biking hydration pack for wear during cooler rides without even noticing it. My only complaint is that it has only one pocket in the small of the back. Could use a chest pocket and hand warmer side pockets. Despite that, it's awesome.

Great Trail Running Jacket
This is the perfect trail running jacket. I wore it this past Sunday in the Jeff Memorial Forest on a 13 mile mostly single track trail run. With windy conditions around 32 degrees, I was very comfortable wearing only a Craft base-layer underneath. I really felt mobile and unrestricted wearing this jacket. It is perfect for aerobic pursuits since it is so breathable. I am 6'4" 190lbs and the size x-large fits me perfectly. It is not too tight yet still has an athletic cut with a good length in back. I sometimes wear a lightweight Osprey pack and the Jacket does not ride up at all. If you are training, you do not miss all of the extra pockets that can add weight. Finally, I have to say that this Transition jacket might be my favorite piece of gear.

light windproof and versatile
Got this 2 years ago, and have used it about 100 times. It is great for moving fast in cool or weather. Windproof and rain resistant. I use it for descending on my Mountain bike on cool days. It also works for light rain. I got caught in a downpour on my bike and it got pretty soaked. I also use it for spring skiing, with a vest. Like most of Mountain Hardwear stuff it fits on the slim side. I have big shoulders and chest and its a touch tight.
