Nice fit, comfortable pant
These are the pants I reach for when I don't want to wear jeans. They are lightweight and the fabric is soft and doesn't get baggy. I thought the fit was true to size and in line with other MH pants - the 6 fits me just right (5'8", 125#) and is actually long enough. On me it's a flattering fit without being too tight. I like the drawstring inside the waistband for customizing the fit. The waist hits me just below the bottom of my bellybutton. I consider these an everyday, kicking around style of pant rather than a technical pant - as the description says, good for hiking, travel and around town.

sized too small/not enough leg room/pants not low rise
These pants definitely run small. I am a solid size 4 and this is the first 4 that doesn't fit. I purchased these pants for climbing, but there is not enough leg room. Also, these pants are not low-rise. I had about 3 inches extra from the crotch seam to the top. I love the color and the style, but the fit isn't good at all. I returned them.

I was excited about this pant when it arrived but then....
While this pant looks great and the one I had before (from Altrec.com) worked out really well, this new order unfortunately was very poor of a quality. One of the legs was narrower than the other one and had a fabric defect (a hole) in it plus other smaller flaws as well. This was in a curb color and it was on sale. I was surprised and disappointed about the poor quality from a top brand like Mountain Hardwear despite that it was on sale. It is going back, sorry!
