Awesome Jacket!
I've waited a few weeks to test out the jacket against different weather and use conditions. When I placed my order, the only size available was a large. I usually wear a size 8-10 in women's jackets, but wanted a jacket that allowed me to layer and at the same time offer excellent range of motion in the shoulder, sleeve and back area. After doing a couple days of research on several sites, I finally settled on this jacket. It is extremely good value for what you get. Everything they advertise is true. The down hood is generously sized and oh so warm! This is a super well designed jacket. There is a nice sized tab in front that prevents the zipper from touching your chin. It is 3 1/2 inches wide and is lined on the inside along the neckline with a soft chamois-feel fabric with down fill and with a velcro fastener. and another very wide tab 5 inches that is attached to the hood itself with a velcro fastener. You can actually tuck your chin inside when it is windy or blowing snow. So comfortable. I have long arms (I am 5'7") and the sleeves on this large size are PERFECT. There are zippered, soft lined side pockets on the outside and also on the inside (the right inside is zippered and the left inside is an elasticized mesh. Also the inside has a waist cinch tie about 9 1/2 inches up from the bottom of the jacket. From where the hood zips to the neckline, the jacket length is about 30 inches. I like the fact that the fabric on the sleeve and and shoulders is a matte finish durable fabric so if you carry skis on your shoulder the jacket will hold up well. Also, the velcro tabs on the wrists are wide, 1 3/4 inches and with the wide elastic keep the snow out. I got this jacket for outdoor work where the temps get cold. Have used it in near zero temps so far (wind chill below zero) and combine with silk long underwear, cotton turtleneck and a lightweight wool sweater. Keeps me snug, warm and also resistant to the wind and snow. Have not noticed it getting wet and have been outside for hours in the snowfall. I got it in black when it was available. AWESOME AWESOME jacket.

Great Jacket
I took this jacket to Everest Base Camp and wore it everyday. It was so comfortable and warm and I never wanted to take it off. It fits true to size -- I normally wear an XS and had plenty of room to wear layers underneath it.

great jacket
super warm jacket - plan to take it up to a 20,000+ foot alpine climb. the jacket is a great value compared to other brands, packs small which is a great advantage when backpacking.
