Flexable Pack Solution
I used the Paragon Pack to carry a 40 liter dry bag, two liters of water and a large bear canister on a 5 day Boundary Waters trip in Minnesota. The total weight was 40 lbs. I was hard on this harness and often dropped the pack to the ground after long portages. I also chucked it into the canoe regularly. I can not find any damage from my trip. It carried my gear comfortably on my waist and shoulders. I really like all the loops to hang gear off of carabiners. The zippered pockets on the waist belt came in handy too

purchased for Boundary Waters trip in MN
The pack system did exactly what we wanted it to do. Used it for a large tent and six thermarests, all in a large poly liner, as these items would have taken up way to much space in a duluth pack. Weight was less an issue for us than bulk. It carried more like a duffle with good straps than a high quality internal frame pack, but the latter prices out at $300 or more, so $50 was a great deal.
