Bomber shell/jacket
I used this jacket as a ranger and my favorite feature is the hem-to-pit zippers allowing for maximum ventilation. I use this jacket in all seasons with different layering schemes. Great product from a good quality company.

Great Jacket!
Just ordered this because it was half off on the day I was browsing around. I think it's well worth the full price too! A lot of people have been complaining about the zippers, but they're not an issue. They are going to be a tighter zip because they're taped, but this just means that your jacket isn't going to let in excess water. I live in Steamboat Springs, Colorado where we've had 0 degree and severe clear, 0 degree and snowing sideways, 50 degree and sunny...then raining, and everything-in-between weather in just a matter of a few days, and I've happily worn this jacket every day. Never been warmer when I put a down layer underneath, but it's nice for the warmer days too. Super versatile. Oh, and shockingly, shockingly light for such a beast of a jacket. Like the Danny Woodhead of GORE-TEX. The fit is really great, but if you're wide in the hips like I am (aka: shaped like a woman), I'd go a size up, as it's not very forgiving in the hips. But it won't make the top look sloppy/baggy because there's only a slight difference between the medium and large. Pockets: nice and deep, hold a lot of stuff. Internal pocket are great. I also like that the side vents can unzip from the base of the jacket, because I wear coach's bibs for skiing and don't really want to take off the whole coat just to grab the dermatone, you know? All-in-all, a great coat! I'm excited to put it to the test when we get back into the negative temperatures!

Awesome Jacket!
I searched all winter for a jacket to nordic ski in that is breathable and waterproof. This jacket is it! I used it the first time on a snowy day and stayed warm and dry while getting in a good workout. The ventilation was great. The hood is a little big without a helmet on but is easily adjusted. I always wear a medium - 5'5" and 130# and it was true to size. The jacket also arrived promptly.
