Great Boot but
I really liked this shoe, but I had problems with them so I ended up sending them back. When I first received them the right shoe had some wrinkles in the leather which I didn't like, but decided to ignore since I planned on wearing them out in the mountains and they were going to get messed up; also the right shoe had an area where the leather rose up to make a bump, but this was slight and I again chose to ignore it. I wore them for a couple days and really liked the feel and style of them. But after a couple days of wear the right shoe lining started pulling out where the laces interlace with the shoe. So rather than a clean leather line you could now see the lining pulling out into view. I couldn't ignore this so I sent them back. I think if I had received a perfect pair of these shoes they would have been great; as a matter of fact, all my problems were with the right shoe so if I were just rating the left shoe then 5 stars all day! 1 star for right shoe :( Also note that these shoes are for winter, they are very warm shoes.

Unbelievably comfortable!!
Best boot buy I've made in ages. Between these and my Blundstones, I don't have to worry about what to wear - I can give each a day's rest between wearing and feel totally fresh at the end of the day. The advantage to these is that they are lace-ups and so I feel a little more sure-footed when hiking over rough terrain. Great boot at a great price and wonderful service from seller.

great boots!
I bought these boots thinking that they would be comfortable. Wow...I was right. I work at a dam and am on concrete all day. I thought that if people can hike in them all day they must be very supportive and they are. My lower back and knees no longer hurt when I get home from the beating they take from walking on concrete all day. I would recommend these to anyone and have to my brother, although he works at a wood mill and said that he wouldn't want them to get dirty because they look so nice...
