Great Jacket
I bought this jacket specifically for a fall trip to the Adirondacks in upstate NY when the temperatures can range from 30-65 degrees throughout the day. To be very honest, it did and has exceeded my expectations. It is fantastic for a crisp fall day when you don't want to wear a large coat and perfect for hiking in the mountains when its cold/windy/rainy and you need to stay warm and dry. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone! Thank you Patagonia and making great products.

Great Jacket
I love the torrentshell line. The jacket is light and well made. There is not much room for bulky layering if that is one's intention with their purchase. I ordered a medium mens and I'm 5'8" 130 (woman) and it fit's just right with a simple polypro shirt underneath. The only things I think could improve the jacket would be a zipper kangaroo pouch with pockets and a larger hood.

Anaoraks Rule!
Hey, how long has it been since you have seen a good anorak? Long time, I imagine. I had one for years - so old it was in 60/40 cloth (nylon/cotton). They drank up water! This is a nice cover. It is a little light, but good to put in your backpack. Mine matches a down sweater that fits neatly underneath. Probably be my gear for backcountry ski expeditions. Fits small, though, particularly through the torso. With its natural compression, I can buy the down sweater in Large, but I will need a XL in this. No problem, there will be some room in there. Needs "pitzips' to score better.
