Our new R3?, made for the cold-weather all-arounder, provides superb insulation on early morning starts and high alpine pushes alike. It?s our warmest nonlaminated (thus more breathable) fleece, with a technical design that excels alone or under a shell. The dense velour face helps stop wind, while the superplush interior grid soothes and adds wicking and warmth. Offset shoulder seams allow for pack-wearing comfort. Pockets: two zippered hand and one chest. 100% recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

As excellent as expected with Patgonia
Extremely warm for such a light-weight jacket. I have worn it in 25 degree F weather with the right layering and been perfectly fine. If you need a mid-layer jacket for cold weather, this is an excellent choice.
