The 4-way polyester/spandex stretch-woven fabric is wind-and-weather-resistant, stretchy, highly breathable and tough as nails on the outside. On the jacket's sensitive side, a brushed interior and chamois-lined collar provide enough next-to-skin comfort to make even the aluminum-foil-chewing, burlap-underwearin' mountain guide sing and dance. The left chest and two handwarmer pockets close with Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) zippers, while the hood fits over a helmet, adjusts with a single pull, and has a laminated visor. Sleek, simple, stretchy self-fabric cuffs and a dual-adjust drawcord hem seal out the elements. Cut trim but with room for underlayers. The Guide Hoodie is recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Love the Style
This jacket has a slim fit which I like because I am slim. I ordered a medium so it wouldn't be tight and would leave room for a light sweater, and it fits perfectly. Got caught in the rain while wearing this jacket and the rain was repelled. There is a chamois fabric inside the collar area so it's soft and warm; a fleece lining in the inside back and arms and a mesh fabric inside the chest area. Very well constructed. I personally love the blue/green color. Patagonia has beat out North Face in my book and they guarantee everything they make. A bit pricey but this jacket is worth it. Just right for the cooler temperatures.

Good quality and great look.
The Patagonia Women's Guide Hoody is the perfect blend of style, comfort, and durability. It fits perfectly and has room for layering underneath. The sleeves are nice and long which is nice for keeping the warmth in. It's nice for wearing on chilly days but also kept me warm on my visit to Mt. Lemmon. Definitely recommend!
