Beacon for Dogs
This is a great item to have for night walks and when traveling. I have used these on vacations with our dogs and can spot them very easily from far away when they are out and about in the woods at night. I will always have these for my dogs. They are sturdy and long lasting and reliable.

My foxy black pup is almost impossible to see in the evening, and it doesn't help that she moves so quickly! She gets to stay out and play much later, and I feel more at ease now that we have this light. It clips securely to her harness, and the clip has a little notch in the middle which helps keep it on tight. I don't use the keyring attachment because she refuses to walk when it's jangling around all over the place. The switch is very easy to manipulate, and I like the different modes on the (very bright!) light. I do worry a bit about the clip breaking because it's made of pretty rigid plastic, but so far so good. My dog's biggest complaint is the size and weight of the light - it's fine on her Webmaster harness, but drops to one side on her lightweight day harness. I've clipped it to her collar on warmer nights as well, and it slips down and flashes in front of her face (annoying, I'm sure). I don't think this would be an issue for bigger dogs, since my pup is tiny at 10 lbs. Overall, an awesome product. Everyone in the neighbourhood is asking where they can get one.

Keep your dogs safe!
Keep your dogs safe on walks after dark. I live in San Diego and sometimes in the summer, it is too hot to walk before dark or in the fall/winter, it gets dark at 5pm. The Ruff Wear Beacon keeps my dogs and me safe from traffic. Also it alerts other dog walkers/dogs of your approach, avoiding any unexpected confrontations.
