warm
800 fill power made them very warm. the folks I bought them for added some type of supporting insole. Although these are not intended to be walkaround outdoor type booties.

"perfect for hutt trips"
I gave this boots as a gift and was told they are the perfect warmth and weight for back-country skiing. They pack small and also look great too. Sierra Designs did a great job with these boots would buy more in the future when these get worn out.

Working great in the Utah Desert
I am an intern counselor at a wilderness therapy program in Utah and I need to have appropriate gear to keep me going year round. I ordered these boots for my 8 days in the field that I completed last week and I can not tell you how great and warm these boots were. After a day of hiking I looked forward to getting to camp to put these on and kick it by the fire. I am really happy with these boots and have found they even look really cute with leggings and a skirt for a day in town:)
