comfortable and stays up!
Very comfortableand they stay up, without being overly compressed. Highly recommend these socks for daily wear. I only wish more colors were available.

As advertised.
These are a very comfortable well made pair of socks. They are lightweight yet feel sturdy. While they kept my feet warm during a full days use, I wouldn't count on them as a sock for use in very cold or long term outdoor activity. Their best use is for casual or dress purposes. The pattern and color are attractive and certainly conservative. There are two things to note when considering ordering them: 1) they are truly a compression fit. I'm 6'5", 205 pounds with full calves and a pair of xl's fit my legs snugly. 2) While my shoe size is 11 & 1/2, I luckily purchased an XL which is supposed to run between 12 and 14 & 1/2. There is no way a large would fit my foot comfortably. Otherwise a top sock for the money.

Quality socks
The Smartwool standup socks are very nice. They keep your feet warm. It does not feel itchy at all. Highly recommended product for fall and winter season.
