Freeman Day Use Area
Freeman Mesa Day Use Area is located on the north shore of Ruedi Reservoir at an elevation of 7,800 ft. It provides access to water sports on the reservoir and hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and motorcycle riding in the surrounding terrain. Users of this site must bring their own drinking water. Restrooms are located on site.

Directions from Basalt: 21 miles east of Basalt, CO up the Frying Pan Rd, County Rd 104
