The rich historic traditions of logging and fishing...are still reflected in the character of the landscape and its people." --- The Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust

Attractions - The Rangeley Lakes Scenic Byway is known for it's Archeology, Cultural, Historical, Natural, Recreational and Scenic Attractions.

Directions from : From Auburn: Take Route 4 north to Livermore. Follow Route 108 north to Rumford. Cross the Androscoggin River to Mexico. Turn north on Route 2 to Route 17 North. The byway begins at the city of Byron.
