Description - The Connecticut River Valley is the frame for the route; sprinkled therein are classic New England towns, broad strokes of mountains, spreads of rural country, and stretches of deep forests.

Three of the oldest and longest covered bridges in New Hampshire rest on this picture; one in Woodsville, another in Bath, and the other in Swiftwater.

Variations on this scene include Plymouth State College's serene campus; Waterville Valley, a popular winter and summer resort; and the city of Haverhill, whose seven unique villages display first-rate Federal-era buildings.

• Continues onto NH 25
• Passes through Warren
• Heads along NH 25C, toward NH 10
• Goes on to Piedmont
• Progresses through Haverhill
