No matter what your favorite water sport, it can be enjoyed on this 250-acre lake

Description - Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park contains 1,970 acres of land including a 250-acre lake for water-oriented recreation. The park gets its name from 1959 L.A. County Supervisor Frank G. Bonelli. It was Bonelli who organized 14-communities in the East San Gabriel Valley to plant more than 10,000 trees creating a legacy for future generations. Today jogging, hiking, and biking trails, along with picnic facilities accommodating over 17,000 people are enjoyed in a natural landscape surrounding Puddingstone Reservoir.
Attractions
- Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park features the 250-acre Puddingstone Lake supporting populations of perch and crappie and stocked with trout , bluegill, catfish, and largemouth bass. In addition, the lake is ideal for swimming, waterskiing, wind surfing, and sailing. Raging Waters, a water theme park, is accessed from the south end of the lake. There are boat rentals, hot tubs, an equestrian center and even a wedding chapel to rent! Other recreational amenities include RV camp sites, trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding, play equipment, gazebos, and group rental picnic areas. Food and beverage concessionaires are provided. The park is open sunrise to 10 PM, March 1 - October 31; sunrise to 7 PM, November 1 - February 28. Vehicle entry fee applies.
Recreation - A host of outdoor opportunities are offered at this park: camping, biking, hiking, horseback riding, water sports, and rental space for your special gathering. Climate - A warm, dry Mediterranean climate prevails over Southern California - inland it is hot in the summer, mild in the winter. Coastal areas have a more moderate climate with frequent fog in the summer. Most of the precipitation comes as rain during the winter months. The best seasons to visit are spring and fall but with the generally mild climate, outdoor activities are available year-round in Southern California. Location -
