Report: Beautiful park, quite and well maintained. We found just what we were looking for, a place to relax. We will recomend the Mississippi park system to all our friends. My children and grandchildren had so much fun that we are making plans to visit again in the fall.

Report: We rent a cabin each fall and the leaves around the lake are beautiful. My husband and I call this our weekend sabatical. It is so relaxing. I look forward to this each year. You can get away from all the hectic busy things that bog you down at times. It is wonderful to just sit out by the lake and listen to the sounds of nature.

Report: There were no tough parts, unless you count occasional thunderstorms, which can be romantic. Rustic cabins at affordable prices, nice little kitchens and BBQ grills outside your cabin. Fireplaces in some. I caught fish from the pier behind my cabin. Fishing is good in the Lake. Nature trails, play grounds, swimming, paddle boats, lovely safe peace and quiet. Fish, read, sleep..whatever. Meridian is close enough to drive into for the day.Visit the Jimmy Rogers museum, see a movie and dine in any of many fine restaurants or hamburger joints of your choice. There are tent sites or primitive sites I don't know about RV sites, you'll have to call to ask. It's quaint I know, but we really enjoyed our stay.
