Description - Golden Memorial State Park is a memorial to the post Civil War era, and has an excellent picnic facility along a large spring fed lake. The park memorializes the post civil War, one-room school once located on the site. The park contains picnic tables, grills, 2 picnic pavilions, nature trails, and a 15-acre spring-fed lake stocked with bass and bream.
