Description - Located just east of Niagara University, Devil's Hole State Park lies along the Robert Moses Parkway just north of Niagara Falls offering wonderful views of the turbulent rapids. Anglers, picnickers and sightseers enjoy the attraction.
- Devil's Hole State Park overlooks the lower Whirlpool rapids. A wildly beautiful walkway leads down from the park along the turbulent Niagara River 300 feet into the wooded gorge and offers an up close, spectacular view of the gorge's rapids. Devil's Hole has picnic areas, hiking and nature trails. It is one of the most popular spots for fishermen.

Climate - The Devil's Hole area experiences average January temperatures above 22 degrees Fahrenheit (above -6 degrees Celsius). It is important to note that this area receives some of the heaviest snowfalls in the nation. Summer temperatures average around 72 degrees Fahrenheit (around 22 degrees Celsius). Precipitation in the region ranges from less than 36 inches to approximately 40 inches of rain and snowmelt.
