Report: While we didn't camp at the park, we did go for the hike through the Glen. It was absolutely fantastic! The waterfalls and rock formations were spectacular. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wanted to go for a hike anywhere in the Finger Lakes. Much prettier and less crowded than Watkins Glen.

Report: I found this park to be extremely enjoyable. My boyfriend and I rented one of the three cabins on the park and were pleasantly surprised. The cabin was very clean and private. Located next to a running stream, we enjoyed the sound of running water. The cabin's generous covered porch allowed us to sit and enjoy the outdoors even during inclement weather. The "Cow Shed" was breathtaking and don't miss the natural swimming pool. One footnote: this park has a large population of brazen skunks. They will walk right into your campsite and I even had one brush up against my leg. Beware!

Report: To be completely honest, Fillmore Glen State Park pretty much sucks. There is absolutely no privacy to speak of. The sites are completely open and the ground is rocky. There are RVs everywhere, and most of the time you can hear their generators running. The bathrooms are clean though, but that probably isn't your main concern. The maps you see on the New York State Camping Site and ReserveAmerica.com are misleading: a number of sites are within 10 feet of a major road. The hiking trails are nice enough, but nothing special. Go elsewhere in the Finger Lakes region, you'll have a better time.
