Description - Interesting geological formations along with an abundance of waterfalls create an environment bursting with plant life at Fillmore Glen State Park. In addition to viewing scenery and plant life, the state park offers camping, a natural swimming pool, fishing and multi-use trails.

- Fillmore Glen State Park is known for its natural beauty. Interesting rock formations shape the deep, cool moist area with 5 cascading waterfalls. Park amenities have been added to this limestone, sandstone and shale environment. Gorge Trail is a very popular trail at Fillmore Glen. It is 2.5 miles long and crosses 8 bridges and offers views of the 5 waterfalls.
Recreation - Viewing beautiful scenery is a favorite pastime at Fillmore Glen State Park. The deep cool, moisture rich gorges is a natural environment for lush, healthy plant life. The park offers camping, hiking in warmer months and cross-country skiing in colder months. Fishing and swimming in a stream-fed pool are also favorites. Snowmobiling is enjoyed in winter. Climate - The Fillmore Glen State Park area experiences average January temperatures above 22 degrees Fahrenheit (above -6 degrees Celsius). It is important to note that this area receives some of the heaviest snowfalls in the nation. Summer temperatures average around 72 degrees Fahrenheit (around 22 degrees Celsius). Precipitation in the region ranges from less than 36 inches to approximately 40 inches of rain and snowmelt. Location -
