Description - Agate Dam is a zoned earthfill structure on Dry Creek. The reservoir covers 216 surface acres. Fish species include largemouth bass, black crappie, brown bullhead, bluegill, yellow perch, and rainbow trout. The season is open year-round.

Climate - Climate in this region varies with elevation and from east to west but is generally mild with four distinctive seasons. The western portions of this region experience higher precipitation and more moderate temperatures year-round. The eastern end of this region is much more arid, with warmer summer temperatures and colder winter temperatures.
