Description - Piute State Park lies in southwestern Utah occupying 40 acres on the northern shoreline of 3,360-acre Piute Reservoir. The park is best known for excellent year round fishing opportunities. Visitors will also find opportunities for boating, swimming, picnicking and primitive camping. This site lies in close proximity to the Fishlake and Dixie National Forests where additional recreation opportunities are available.

- This site is largely undeveloped with primitive camping facilities that include vault toilets, picnic tables and fire pits. A boat ramp, swimming beach and docks are available.
Recreation - Piute State Park is a popular place for trophy-quality fishing, boating, swimming and duck hunting. The surrounding Bureau of Land Management and National Forest preserves provide opportunities for additional recreational pursuits. Climate - This region of Utah, like most others, is arid, receiving approximately 12 inches of rain per year. The fall and spring are the most pleasant times to visit Piute State Park, and also the most crowded, with warm days and cool nights. Summer brings very hot days and visitors are encouraged to curb rigorous activities during the afternoons. In winter expect warm days and very cold nights. Location -
