Report: Just off I-75 at the Emerson Allatoona Rd. exit turn west and fallow the signs. The allatoona battle field offers wonderful walking and historical information. just acroos from the trail head is the clayton house that was used as a hospital during the civil war. While offering not only a place for a good walk, the area has wonderful fishing and nice friendly people. If you get hungery try Doug's Place in emerson, about 2 miles from the interstate. The best part, in my opinion, on a hot summers day is to stand awhile in the deep cut, where the air is allways cooler.
