We really enjoyed our stay in Lake Havasu City. The toughest part was the heat, but the beautiful lake makes up for it (you just stay in the water when you're out on the lake - boating or fishing). The best place to eat that we found in town was Mudshark's - a pizza place with their own microbrewery (my husband loved their Hefeweizen). The biggest landmark in town is the London Bridge (yes, the one that was 'falling down.' It's quite secure now, and is the focal point of the city. We rented a beautiful 3bd/2ba house in a very nice neighorhood, away from the hustle/bustle, but close enough to get to everything. Next year, we'll probably lease for the snowbird season.
