The Lake is in very good conditions for channel catfish, bass, sunfish, crappie, and trout. The best places to go for channel catfish are underneath the east leg of the bridge, and a little bit down the trail from it. Although there are lots of little gnats, I got a 20 pound channel cat! You need a boat to get bass. I didn't get any from shore. I got some nice rainbow trout from the oposite side of the bridge. Sunfish are good from just about anywhere! If you want to get some big channel catfish, you need to buy some anchovies from the marina. That's what I got mine with. Crappie are also only good if you're in a boat.

Excellnet place for anglers to catch channel catfish. Many anglers are unaware about this lake I have seen 10-22 pounder catfish in this lake. Only problem there is always to many people there.
