very pleasant surprise as i was in the area and saw the state Park Sign and decided to detour my route to take a look. Although I live with a few miles of it, i never new of its existance, or maybe i had heard of it but had no idea of its size. I was very suprised that such a large open wilderness area is so close to so much urban life...i will definaltley make a plan to revisit and do some hiking. i only drove partially through and saw coyotes and some deer. refreshing place to visit
