I visited Steamboat Lake with my 3 Buddies from Denver in late September. We got there 9/22 about 4 pm and were fishing by 5. Caught 3 Rainbows 18" and up in an hour on worms under bobbers. Over the next 3 days we caught and released dozens of fish 16- 21 " on all gear we used. Spinners, flies, and bait.
