** Overall rating- GOOD to Very GOOD.** Our family has camped here a number of times. The LAKE is a typical Fla lake complete with gators but the swimming area is nice and the gators don't bother you. You can FISH the lake but everyone must have a license and a boat launch is available(I believe there is a maximum motor size restriction-check before coming) CAMPGROUNDS were clean, brush & foliage between sites provided privacy, bathhouse & restrooms well maintained & clean. Two camping area's adjacently located with paved road thru both sites. CAMPING TIP-Come a few weeks before your camping trip, check out the sites, find 3-4 you like and then make reservations, you can then tell them which site you want. Small park but quiet and clean. Short trails for HIKING or off road BIKING. Grocery store and gas station located about 3-4 miles from park.
