Recommendation: Highly
We HIGHLY recommend the walk-in campsites for tent campers at this park. Private, wooded, level, gravel tent pads; hot showers; great rate ($10, no hookups). There is a pump at the restroom/shower station. There 11 sites to choose from, none of them poor. We had 'I' and were very pleased. Because of bear in the vicinity (we encountered none), you must keep all food, coolers, cookware, etc. in your car, and the parking lot is a downhill from sites 'G' through 'K' and uphill from 'D' and 'E'. Sites 'A' and 'B' and 'C' are farther up the road from the restrooms, but definitely within walking distance. No RVs are allowed in this area or the access road, which is really nice for tent campers! We'd definitely come back to this spot, and we hope to do it soon.
