The first time I visited the falls was about 6 years ago and only saw the dam. Didn't realize the extent of the falls were on the other side. Returned around spring of this year...hiked down as far as my aunt and I could go...took lots of good pics. Knew that I wanted my husband to see this spectacular site as we have visited many waterfalls. The day we arrived was in June and it was pouring rain. We donned rain gear and unbrellas, tucked cameras safely inside and headed down. It was well worth the hike as the water was high and moving very fast. Photography is a passtime for me and the photos turned out great. Do visit the falls and take your time...it's worth it!
