My family and I were in Roswell for a baseball tournament. We took a day and went to the Bottomless Lakes. WOW! What a treat and a suprise. It was way more beautiful and fun then we expected. WE took food and cooked out on the grills which are provided by the park. Also the covered picnic area was great since we had a baby with us. It is truly a hidden treasure for New Mexico. I plan on returning this summer for another fun filled day! If you are looking for a nice vacation spot that's close to home....try The Bottomless Lakes near Roswell.
