Stopped at the Subway in Raton and took the meal and all our family up to the park for a picnic. Nice spot for a picnic right beside the beautiful, blue lake. We were driving back to Texas after our annual skiing trip to Colorado. This was a welcome stop along the way. A wonderful spot for natural beauty and solitude. Only about 15 minutes out of Raton. Very nice experience!!
