I am a resident and i use a fly rod and fly reel and i normally fish over by the green house past mcdonald pond going towards the bathroom area and there is a place where there is a current i have fished for the last 10-11 yrs and i use flies and the best thing is normally when i go i catch trout 5-13 inches and bass about 5-15 pounds. But on other side i normally use a fly rod with a spin casting real and with 17pound red cajun line about a 8-10 size hook and a bober about 5-8 inches away no weight so the line can free float under bober and on a sunny or somewhat cloudy sunny day with a breeze from behind u could catch a good size trout or bass u can normally find me in a wader suit and ask me any question. so i am normally there befor 3 or ss well on the weekends and friday. so i hope u have fun and i will keep updates.

the best place to catch fish would be mcdonalds pond there I personaly caught well over 20-30 sunfish also small large mouth bass 2-3 inches. 2 of my largest fish were bass which were around 7 inches! the tackle i use is pretty simple:Fly rod and reel with leader line and 6 pound triline line where i use a simple hook (around a size 8 or 10 hook). The bait i use are small shrimp or krill the sun fish love `em. I sometimes meet some people and they ask me what i use and i tell them. The greatest spot is along the road side or opposite side. You might see me one day i usually wear a fishermans vest(like silverish) last time i was there was October 10 2002 when i was with my friend. We could not find a fish so we left and came back around 4 or 5 o`clock we were on the opposite side of the road and were casting into the shadows on the water. This provided us with fish because when the sun was over head the fish could see the bait and they would skatter but the shadow prooved well for that day. if you plan to fish there keep an open mind and be patient that`s really my only skill i use! I buy my shrimp at petco and it works the best. like i said if you see me please say hi, i will tell you some secrets and tips for fishing in lakes and rivers.
