Nehalem Bay State Park is the best that I have ever been to. It is clean and pleasant and I love the fact that there are real toilets (not outhouses) and warm showers. It has a feeling of opennes, yet you have ample privacy. It's a bit of a trek to get to the beach, but boy is it worth it. The sunsets are spectacular and if you're up to it, so are the sunrises. There is lots to do nearby. You can walk along the beach to Manzanita and then stroll through the unique gift shops or grab a coffee. Nehalem, the town is a blink-or-you'll-miss-it kind of place but it's full of antiques and novelties. As you can tell I highly recommend that anyone go there as soon as they can. You won't be disappointed.
