Four friends and I went to Silver Falls State Park Feb 2003 on a 3 day weekend from college. It was awesome. The trail is by far worth the trip, even in the rain. (yes, it was raining! We toughed it out and were rewarded) We had a cabin that we could stay in there and for $35 a night, that was a good value. The privacy and warmth was worth it and promoted a welcoming feeling. This is a great park for Students and People, especially for those who really appreciate nature.
