It was fun there. Their was a scenic view from the mountain and the staff are the friendliest people I have ever met. Prairie dog town was almost deserted so don't expect to see any. Other than that I reccomend you go.

Recommendation: Neutral
While the prairie dogs are prominently advertised as a big draw, the prairie dog town was totally deserted and, by the looks of it, had been for some time. That was very disappointing and we felt somewhat misled. The park itself was clean, scenic and pleasant. We intend to return someday for stargazing or hiking -- but don't expect prairie dogs, because you won't find them.
